Sprite Patterns December Day 31: Closing 2014 With Breaking Bad and Fargo

Hello! This year, I did not do very well with Sprite Patterns December, so I am glad to be done with it after this post. I like the patterns that I have for today, though! Last year, I posted a set of Breaking Bad patterns that was not quite complete, so tonight, I have a pattern of Lydia to go with the rest of them. I should have done this pattern in the first place, but I forgot it, so I did this during one of the AMC marathons from earlier this year. To stay on the theme of critically acclaimed cable dramas, I also have a pattern of Gus from Fargo! I posted Molly earlier this fall, so Gus has just been sitting on my desktop for a while. I'm glad to finally get him posted! Neither of these patterns are too fancy, but I hope to make them both sometime in the future. I hope you guys like them, too!

Well, that's it for Sprite Patterns December, but I still have a lot of cross stitch patterns to post and hope to have a lot of cool stuff for 2015! I hope that all of you have a nice end to this year and a good start to the next one! See you soon!

Sprite Patterns December Day 30: Another Set Finished!

Hello! I'm not totally energetic today, but I'm ready to finish off the Big Hero 6 pattern set! Today I have the last two patterns, featuring Hiro and Baymax, both in their red and purple suits, and I think both of them came out pretty well. They ended up looking so much like characters from Gotcha Force, this Game Cube game about toy robots, though, that it's really odd. I like both of these and hope to make the set someday, since I think they'd make nice additions to my standee collection, so I hope you guys like them, too!

Tomorrow is the last day of Sprite Patterns December, and I don't know what I'm going to post yet. I'll have something, though, so I'll see you guys then! Have a lovely day!

Sprite Patterns December Day 29: Over Half Done With the Big Hero 6 Set

Hello! This morning, while watching a lot of episodes of Parks and Recreation, I finished stitching Baymax! Look upon this wondrous piece of plastic canvas art and praise me! (I don't mean that, but I am very happy with how this came out. It ended up being a fine craft project.)

With that posted, I have two more patterns in the Big Hero 6 set to post today! Today, I have Fred in his kaiju suit, and I'm considering stitching a standee of this pattern to display next to my standee of Newt from Pacific Rim, because I think that they'd be great friends. I can hear my sister yelling "nerd!" about this already. I also have Go Go's pattern, though I think the wheels on her arms and legs make her look like she's from this PS2 game I played when I had chicken pox where it was a racing game, but the cars were people and everyone had their butts up in the air. I don't remember what that game was called, but I know that it existed. Both of these patterns are kind of oversized and have a lot of colors, so they might not be really easy to stitch, but they should come out well. Enjoy them!

Tomorrow, I'm going to finish this set up, and then only one day will be left in the month! It's been kind of a slog this year, so I'm glad I'm almost done. I hope you guys have liked some of the patterns, though! Have a good day!

Sprite Patterns December Day 28: More Big Hero 6 Patterns

Hello! Last night, I was working very slowly, so I have not yet finished stitching Baymax. I am quite disappointed in myself, but no amount of suffering on my part will stop another day of sprite patterns.

I'm actually not very upset at all, and it looks like I'll finish my project tonight. Plus, I have two more spiffy Big Hero 6 patterns for you guys today. For today, I'm posting Wasabi and Honey Lemon, which are probably the two least impressive patterns in the set. I have nothing against them, but in terms of fanciness, they don't have kaiju suits or leg wheels, so tomorrow's post is definitely going to be more intense. These are pretty detailed patterns with piles of colors, though, so though they're not out of the ordinary in terms of size or style, they might be a little more difficult than normal. All of the pinks and purples in Honey Lemon's pattern seem like they'll be especially annoying to get right. I'm still happy with these patterns, though, and hope that you like them, too!

With those posted, I'm done for today and am going to go back to stitching for a while! I'm getting a Playstation TV in the mail tomorrow, so I at least want to get Baymax done before I get the shiny new game machine. Have a good night, and best of luck with all of your craft stuff!

Sprite Patterns December Day 27: The Easiest Pattern of the Month

Hello! Today, I was at McDonalds, eating a Bacon McDouble with a lovely caramel latte, and I was thinking that, if I made patterns of the Avengers and the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy, it would also make sense if I made the cast of Big Hero 6. This was not for thematic reasons so much as it was that my desk at school will be good with Groot on it, but with Groot and Baymax on it, it will be possibly the best desk in the entire university. I spent the afternoon doing all of the main characters, though, and despite the fact that they have some really detailed outfits, I think that they turned out really well! I am going to spend the next few days inflicting them on you guys.

I ended up with seven patterns in this set, because I did two versions of Baymax, so today I'm posting the basic version because I would like to stitch it tonight. This is bigger than a normal sprite pattern, but it's the easiest pattern I've posted all month, so I'm not worried about that. Some of the other patterns in this set are going to be pretty difficult, I think, but this should balance it out.

I'm done for today, because I want to finish my Idolm@ster needlepoint and start stitching this, but I'll be continuing this set tomorrow! Have a lovely night, and I'll see you guys tomorrow!

Sprite Patterns December Day 26: More Fire Emblem Stuff!

Hello! I'm having some trouble with Blogger today, but I have a pattern of Seth from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones to post. Can you guys let me know if this works? I am not able to access other blogs on Blogger/Blogspot to read them, so I am not sure if this will post or not. If it does, though, I'm very happy with today's pattern. I hope that you guys like it, too!

I'm going to stop fighting with this program and go do crafts or play DS for a while! Hopefully, tomorrow's post will be easier! Bye!

Sprite Patterns December Day 25: So Festive!

Hello, and merry Christmas! My eyes are really buggy today, so I'm just going to post the second half of my Spongebob Squarepants patterns and call it a day. I have some Christmas stuff that I'd like to show off tomorrow, though, so I'll have a longer post then. I hope you guys like these patterns!

Have a happy holiday and a nice day overall! I'll be back with more patterns tomorrow!

Sprite Patterns December Day 24: More Durarara Rubbish

Hello! I don't have any special Christmas or Christmas Eve patterns this year, because Sprite Patterns December has gotten out of my control. I need to do better preparation next year. For today, though, I have two new Durarara patterns, featuring Izaya Orihara, who people may actually want, and Mika Harima, who was a lunatic in a cute outfit. I think I may have made Mika look too much like a Pokemon trainer, but she might just look that way in the anime, too.

Here are the patterns!
I'm done for today, because it's Christmas Eve, I'm lazy, and I want to needlepoint some Space Invaders! I'll be back tomorrow, though, with more patterns! Bye! Have a lovely night!

Sprite Patterns December Day 23: More Little Twin Stars!!

Hello! Today, I got an e-mail from Sanrio saying that, if I ordered any of their overpriced stationery, I could have a free Little Twin Stars gift bag, because tomorrow is apparently a character birthday thing. I haven't ordered anything from Sanrio before, because that is not a move I can safely make, and today, I still didn't. I did, however, do a new Little Twin Stars sprite pattern based on the 1975 character design, because it makes me happy. For a few minutes, I was considering just doing Little Twin Stars patterns for the rest of the month, but since I'm too lazy for that, I'm just going to post this.

I opened up my Little Twin Stars sprite pattern from last year to work on this. The biggest difference here, other than some of the accessories and colors, is that now they're a couple of pixels shorter and have feet. My favorite difference for this one is the dark brown outline, though. If you don't like it, you can still stitch it in black floss, but I think that the brown outline is what makes it look like the original stationery and stuff.

I was excited about this, and now it's over, so that's it for me today! Have a nice evening! I'm going to watch Die Hard and get into the holiday spirit, so I hope that you guys have just as much of a lovely time.

Sprite Patterns December Day 22: Spongebob!

Hello! This morning, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie was on IFC, so today, I decided to make some Spongebob patterns. I did four of them, so this is going to drag on for two days, even though I'm not sure they'll be consecutive. It might be, though, because it was a lot more effort to make these patterns match the other sprite patterns than I really should have spent on them.

For today, I have Spongebob and Patrick! These are pretty simple patterns, and smaller than normal sprite patterns, meaning that they ought to be very easy to stitch. The shapes are not normal, but that shouldn't do anyone any harm. I'm guessing they'll be much easier to stitch than they were to make! Anyway, here are the patterns!

I'm done today, but will have more patterns of something tomorrow! See you then!

Sprite Patterns December Day 21: In the Final Third of the Month

Hello! Have any of you guys seen the anime AKB0048? I've talked about it on here before, but I'm pretty sure it's not a good show. It's about a space battling girl group that sounds kind of like if there were 50 people in Bananarama, but because pop music was outlawed, everyone in the world thinks they're the best band ever because there are no other bands. The anti-pop music government is so against them that they send the space army to shut down their shows and stop all the teenage girls at the shows from glow stick dancing, and then, the girls and their weird adult fans have outer space battles with the government. Also, the girls on the show have spent their entire lives wanting to be in this group, so they are willing to undergo space battle training for the right to sing really perky songs in unison with a ton of other girls. It is also implied that their songs are written by God, or at least the space jellyfish of God. (I haven't watched season 2 yet, so that question may have been answered by now. I don't really care.)

Anyway, I'm making patterns for this anime because I want to. There's tons of brightly colored hair and frilly pink dresses, and making idol singer patterns is always more fun if you know that the character in the pattern can shoot down a spaceship with lasers. Tonight, I have patterns of Nagisa and Chieri because they're pretty much the main characters. Here they are!

I'm done misusing my blog for tonight, but will be back with more stuff tomorrow. Bye!

Sprite Patterns December Day 20: Holiday Break!!

Hello! I'm home for holiday break now, so I can make tons of pointless patterns just because I want to now!

Did you guys hear that next month, there's a third season of Durarara starting? (It actually comes back the same week as Gotham. I watch cool person TV.) I didn't really like season two, aside from the episode where Shizuo went in the square and fought all of the Saikas, because Anri was a horrible, boring character and it was a bad idea to center so much of the story around her. It's not like anime still works like when I was in high school, though, where it cost 30 dollars for every four episodes on DVD. When these new episodes of Durarara come out, they're going to be streaming all over the internet, for free, legally, and I have a computer plugged into my TV and I'm gonna watch it.

Anyway, because of this, I've decided to make a ton of new Durarara patterns. It's my blog, so I do what I want, as I have said before. I posted Celty and Shizuo, and Anri, too, I think (these are the ones I have standees of, anyway) a while back, when the first season was running on Adult Swim, so it's time to finish the set, even though it will be insane. After that, I would like to work on the Baccano set, too, so you guys have that to look forward to.

Today, I have patterns of Mikado Ryugamine and Masaomi Kida, because they've got the most boring outfits, so why not get it over with? These aren't too interesting, but they'll be easy to stitch. Enjoy!

I'm done for today, and since I'm on break, all bets are off in terms of what I'm going to post! I have a lot of dumb anime patterns I want to make and the time that I need to make them.

Until tomorrow, have a nice evening and enjoy your crafts!

Sprite Patterns December Day 19: More Macross, Less Text

Hello! I am tired, I don't feel good, and an episode of How To Get Away With Murder that I haven't watched yet is up on Hulu. Enjoy this pattern of Myung from Macross Plus and be filled with the joy of the holiday season!
I'm done for now, but I'll be back tomorrow with another post! Bye!

Sprite Patterns December Day 18: Fighting Games! Woo!

Hello! I had a not-so-great afternoon and evening and then forgot about this blog until now. I still don't really want to do it, so I'm digging into my reserve of fighting game patterns!! The two characters I have from this tonight are Shiki, a character introduced to Samurai Shodown way after people cared and used in a bunch of later SNK fighters, and Bang Shishigami from Blazblue, who I thought I posted a year ago but apparently did not.

I'm okay with these patterns, despite the fact that Blazblue, as always, has characters with the stupidest outfits possible, and it's fun to post fighting game stuff. Enjoy!

I have fulfilled my obligation to this blog for tonight, so I am leaving! See you tomorrow!

Sprite Patterns December Day 17: An Overboard Captain America 2 Pattern

Note: This post contains spoilers for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. If you care about this movie and have not seen it or are somehow magical enough to have avoided spoilers on the stuff I am going to talk about, then I'm not sure that I understand how you live your live. Still, you've been warned.

So, last night, I said that I was going to continue with the Macross Plus sprite pattern set, so if you were really looking forward to that, I apologize. I finished all my papers for the semester, though, so I wanted to post something fancy and cool! I've been trying to do some bigger patterns using the sprite pattern template, like this totally cool Robotech thing I made last spring (it's under the Grand Budapest Hotel thing), and my group pattern of the cast of the Idolm@ster, so that is what I'm inflicting on you guys now!

At the start of this semester, I saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier for a second time because the school was showing it outside for free with bonus free food, and, seeing as it was a cool movie, I wanted to watch it again. It wasn't long after that when I started talking to more than one reader of this blog about making some sprite patterns for the movie.

When I say "some sprite patterns," I mean everyone just wanted Bucky. I still haven't done that because I kind of suck at requests right now, but I'll make a chart and post him sometime this weekend.

What I actually did, however, is think, "Ah, that movie was so cool! I want to do a big pattern from it! Ooooh, I don't remember if this actually happened in Phantasy Star or not, but it seems like the kind of game where computers are always screwing things up, so what if I did a pattern that LOOKED like it was from a Phantasy Star game with the little people and everything, but instead was Steve and Natasha in the Hydra bunker when the computers turn on and it's Dr. Zola going, 'You guys are Hydra, and I'm gonna kill you now!' and Captain America is all like, 'Well, this is a bad development that challenges my patriotic worldview.' Yeah, that seems like something that could happen in an old RPG."

So, I made that pattern, at 50 by 40 pixels, and just didn't post it until now. I'm really happy with this pattern and think that it could be fun to stitch, so I pretty much just didn't post it because I'm lazy. It's up now, though, so I hope you guys like it! I would recommend following at least some of the floss color chart in this case, because of all the different shades of gray, The rest of it is pretty basic colors, though, so a lot of it can still be done with scraps from other projects. Enjoy my clunky pixel art of a really old computer!

With that posted, I'm done for today, but tomorrow I'll probably have either Macross Plus or Fire Emblem stuff to post. Until then, have a good night and a good start to tomorrow!

Sprite Patterns December Day 16: Macross Plus, Which You All Should Have Seen Coming

Hello! Today was kind of a weird day, so I don't have a very long post. Last night, however, I started a lovely new pattern set of the characters from Macross Plus, and I'm pretty excited to start posting that, even as all of you slowly shake your heads in shame. (You probably should save that for later in the month, when I get to Macross II.) I only have two patterns of the five or six I'm planning for this set done so far, so in the interest of being able to finish my paper without any stress tomorrow, I'm only posting one of them. It's of Sharon Apple, though, because if I'm going to start a pattern set with any character from this, it's gonna be the virtual idol singer who went nuts and made a guy fly his aircraft so high that he exploded his own head. (This anime is almost 20 years old, so I don't feel too bad about spoilers. I don't know if this scene was only for the movie version, though, because it was kind of intense.) The only unusual thing about this pattern is the paleness level of the skin, but because she's a hologram, I wanted to match how washed out she looked on screen with this pattern. Other than that, this is pretty standard.

Anyway, I'll have another post tomorrow, probably with more of this, but I'm still working on the Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones patterns, too. See you then!

Sprite Patterns December Day 15: Blogger Keeps Failing Me Today, So Here's a Pattern and a Small Amount of Text

Hello! I am a little behind on pattern making and having some irritating issues with Blogger, so I am just going to post one pattern tonight and hope that things work! I have another Fire Emblem pattern, tonight featuring Vanessa. I have mixed feelings about this pattern because I like the character, but always ended up with her getting killed when I tried to play Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. Still, I hope you guys like it!
I am done for tonight before this site crashes another browser. I'll have something else for you guys tomorrow, but, until then, have a nice evening and good luck with your crafty stuff!

Sprite Patterns December Day 14: Yet Again, Fire Emblem

Hello! I finished my paper yesterday! Aren't you all excited for me? I'm now done with two out of three classes for this semester! I also discovered that my last paper is 12 pages instead of 20, which is fantastic. I'm pretty happy about this, even if the results will not be immediately visible in this blog. For tonight, though, I have two nifty new Fire Emblem patterns!

Thank you for all the comments on this pattern set, guys! I don't know all of the characters, but it's fun to try to jam in all of the details, and for the most part, it works. It will take me a while to finish The Sacred Stones, but I might do another of the games, too, if you guys have any suggestions. For tonight, though, here are Moulder and Ross!

I'm done for tonight, but have a couple of very nice entries in this set for tomorrow! Until then, have an okay night!

Sprite Patterns December Day 13: Back to Fire Emblem

Hello! I keep writing papers, and the English language is starting to not make that much sense to me. If I can make it just a few hundred more words tonight, though, I don't have to do any homework at all tomorrow. That would be cool.

Anyway, because of this, and because I am watching TV right now, too, I only have one pattern for tonight. It is of Franz, from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones! Getting the colors right on this pattern was a little hard, since there's so many greens, but I think that I've gotten it to look right. Here is the pattern!
I am done for tonight, but will have more patterns tomorrow! I was going to post more Fire Emblem stuff tomorrow, but Martin Freeman is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight, which reminded me that even though I posted Molly from Fargo, I forgot to post Gus to go with her, and then in that folder, I had a pattern of Lydia from Breaking Bad, too. I probably won't do it tomorrow, but sometime, you guys can look forward to a day of characters I forgot from critically acclaimed cable TV dramas! Until then, have a lovely day!

Sprite Patterns December Day 12: I Quit Caring, Robotech Time!!!

Hello! Today was a fun day. I had work most of the day, and got to take home the remnants of the fruit tray, which is great, and finished all of my work for one of my three classes! I also had a minor temporary hair dying event (it's a loose definition of the term event) and dyed a bright pink and red streak in my hair, which I followed by going to the student life center and drawing a super-awesome Robotech fan art on a piece of stretched canvas. It will take me forever to finish it, but I will show off the start in a moment!

For now, I'm all hyped up about Robotech, because I'm super cool, so I'm going to post some alternate outfit sprite patterns of Lisa and Minmei that I made a while back! I don't think anyone really wants these, but I like them, so I'm posting them. Enjoy!

Okay, as promised, I'm now going to show you my lovely piece of art I've started, featuring second season heroine Dana Sterling! I chose to draw her because she has puffy hair and looks super-80s, but am happy with how it's turning out. Right now, I am stuck at, "Huh. Now what?" but I'll figure it out.
Now that you're done admiring how great and talented I am, I am going to leave for tonight! I'll get back to the Fire Emblem patterns tomorrow, though! Until then, have a lovely night!

Sprite Patterns December Day 11: A Slow Start to a New Fire Emblem Set

Hello! I am kind of tired tonight, so I'm only posting one pattern. I don't even know if that matters this month, but it is what I am doing. I'm getting started tonight on a set of requested patterns of the cast of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones for the Game Boy Advance. I first got the request and thought, "Oh, sounds fun! I'll do a few of those!" They started turning out really well, though, so I want to make all of the characters now. Tonight is a slow start, with a pattern of Eirika, but I really like this chart. The outfits in this game are really detailed, but not too ridiculous, and the colors are pretty nice, too, so these charts are fun to make. I'll have two or three of them for you tomorrow, but for tonight, enjoy Eirika!
Okay, that's it for today, but I will have more Fire Emblem stuff tomorrow! Good night, and enjoy the start to your Friday!

Sprite Patterns December Day 10: Samus!

EDIT: I originally posted the wrong color chart with Zero Suit's pattern! The right color key can be found right here! Thanks, Kathryn!

I am not actually as excited about posting my cross stitch Samus today as I was about not posting her yesterday. That was really fun. I do like this pattern, though, so I am kind of happy to be posting it. I made one of Zero Suit Samus to match, so I'll be posting that, too. Yay!

I think I'm going to start a big request set tomorrow, for someone who asked way before December, though I don't have it all done yet. In the end, though, there are going to be a lot of patterns for this, so they will come in chunks. Past that, I am not sure what I am going to do. Things are veering quickly towards, other than this big request set, my posting dozens of patterns of fighting game characters and anime idol singers, which actually sounds like a lot of fun to me.

Speaking of, have any of you guys been following the online whiny-baby-stink-fest over Lucky Chloe, the new character in Tekken 7? Why shouldn't Tekken have a fluffy girl character? Since when has that series been the symbol of restraint in fighting game character creation? Did everyone just kind of forget Roger and Alex?

Also, do any of you play the Love Live School Idol cell phone game? I have just been thinking about this as I typed, but what if that game was exactly the same.... but then instead of being a music game, it was just kind of King of Fighters with idol singers? I mean, the music game could still exist, not everyone is into fighting games, but I would really like a fighting game, too. It would be even better if it were a Robotech fighting game, too, and no, I don't mean Macross. I want to make the characters kick each other in the face from across seasons.

So, to summarize, my awesome mobile game idea is King of Fighters, but with Robotech characters, and not the robots, just the people- so forget all the stuff I was saying about Love Live School Idol, until a week from now when all of you are going, "NO, why did she have to make every character from this anime/game and post them all separately?" (I don't know if I will do this for sure, but if I do, then it will be because I want to.)

Anyway, I'm done for now, but will have some requested patterns tomorrow! See you then!

Sprite Patterns December Day 9: Smash Bros Characters With Giant Heads

Hello! Originally, tonight I was going to post a super-cool and great pattern of Samus, but I keep screwing up trying to make the charts tonight, so you can't have her.

That's right! Samus had too many colors, and I'm typing badly, so now you suffer. You are at my whims! I control the cross stitch patterns, and if I say Samus will be posted tomorrow, you must wait for her!

Also, tomorrow, I'll have both normal Samus and Zero Suit Samus, so she'll get her own post. Still, if you were counting on having that pattern tonight, I am not sorry, and I smile at your childish impatience. Live another day without a simplified pattern of Samus and know that, in a kinder world, I could have given her to you.

Okay, so anyway, for today I have two different patterns of characters in the Smash Bros games that I think came out to be really cute! I wanted to try some characters that had been really difficult in the past, which is actually why I made the Samus pattern that you guys CAN'T HAVE YET. For today, though, I'm posting some patterns of Ness and the Ice Climbers that I also made last night! I think the Ness one came out better, but the Ice Climbers are more festive. I hope that you guys like these, though, even as you wonder why I am being so cruel as to withhold the Metroid charts!

As you may be able to tell, I am tired and loopy, so I am going to go for now! As you may have been able to guess, though, tomorrow I will be posting Samus! I may have more Smash Bros themed charts in the near future, too. Anyway, have a good night!

Sprite Patterns December Day 8: The Rest of the Cast of Guardians of the Galaxy

Hello! Today, I dealt better with doing a ton of homework, so my brain is not very fried! However, I don't really have too many strong feelings about my post tonight. I'm finishing off the Guardians of the Galaxy sprite pattern set that I started yesterday! Tonight's characters are Drax, Gamora, and Peter Quill, because they were the main characters that I did not post yesterday.

As far as these patterns go, Drax is the one that I have the least to say about. I mean, I think that pattern turned out well, but it was pretty stress free. I had difficulty with both Peter and Gamora's patterns, but for completely different reasons. With the Peter Quill pattern, I kept trying to make the long red coat, but, a couple of years ago, I'd done an Oscar nomination pattern for Philip Seymour Hoffman's role in The Master where he was wearing a red housecoat. I had a lot of trouble making the two patterns look different, which I realize is not a standard cross stitch pattern making problem, but I still spent a bit over an hour fiddling with all of the pixels, trying to differentiate my pattern of Chris Pratt from my pattern of Philip Seymour Hoffman. I am pretty sure that it worked (here is a link to the other chart), but if nothing else, I gave it my best shot and think that it is at least recognizable.

With Gamora, my problem was not that I was making Zoe Saldana look like an actor in a Paul Thomas Anderson movie, but that if someone is in a movie with the end of their hair dyed bright pink, I need to do that hairstyle justice. Because of that, Gamora has the most colors of any pattern in this set. I also spent quite a bit of time trying to decide what color of green was best for her skin, which I'd never dealt with before, but that wasn't so bad.

Anyway, here are today's patterns! I hope that you guys like them!

I am not totally sure what I am going to post tomorrow, but I'll come up with something! Until then, have a nice day!

Sprite Patterns December Day 7: It Is Groot!

Hello! I did a ton of homework today, so my brain is fried, but I have Guardians of the Galaxy patterns to start posting tonight, and I am excited about that. For tonight, I'm posting Rocket Raccoon and Groot, because I am very pleased with how these two patterns came out and want to show them off. Plus, for some reason, my sleepy brain does not like the way that "raccoon" is spelled, and I would like to stop dealing with that as soon as possible.

Both of these patterns are of about the same difficulty, though neither of them quite follow my standard sprite pattern template. Groot is quite a bit taller than a normal pattern, but only has four colors, and though Rocket is small, he has quite a few colors to deal with. The proportions of the two of them next to each other are not quite right, but if I'd made Groot bigger, he'd tip over when stitched as a standee. I'd say something about making Rocket smaller, but really, I was just too lazy to deal with that. Anyway, here are the patterns!

I'll have the other three patterns in this set ready to post tomorrow, and from there, I seriously do not know what I'll be posting! I'll think of something, though! Anyway, I'm off to watch TV, do crafts, and stay awake for a couple more hours. Have a lovely evening!

Sprite Patterns December Day 6: The Last of the Happy Days

Hello! My attention span is very bad today. Making charts for the patterns for today involved such things as reading Click Hole for a very long time, going to get Chinese food, finding a book about the history of video games written during the 1980s on Hardcore Gaming 101, considering making more patterns for later in the week, reading several old posts on a different blog, doing a good amount of schoolwork, changing the theme on my phone, and some blank staring at the dry erase board behind my computer. I am not productive when I am sleepy. Eventually, though, I got today's patterns done, so I can finish the set of Happy Days charts!

For today, I have patterns of Fonzie, Ralph, and the actually requested Potsie. I actually just made Ralph because I'd been asked to make Potsie and it seemed stupid not to make Fonzie, meaning that I might as well finish the group. His pattern ended up being the most complicated, though, because on Wednesday, it seemed like a good idea to give a sprite pattern an argyle sweater vest. Fonzie's pattern is the best of them, though, with Potsie just kind of being there. Anyway, here are the patterns!

I'm finally done with this blog for today, and am ready to start a new set tomorrow, featuring characters from a popular movie that came out this summer. I do want to warn you guys, though, that last night, I watched Macross Plus, which featured a virtual idol singer that wanted to murder people, so you shall have to face the consequences of my viewing choices before the end of the month and possibly before the end of next week. (Also, no, I am not sorry about spoiling an anime that is 20 years old.) Until tomorrow, best of luck with your crafts! After that, I don't care what happens.

Sprite Patterns December Day 5: Yeah, That's Right- Happy Days Patterns!

Hello! Tonight I have no cable and poor internet, with outside being foggy during pouring rain while the temperature is dropping. This sounds unpleasant, but I am inside and have many DVDs, so it is fine. However, I would like to ask you guys to tell me if I have four patterns here or not. I am getting broken image links right now and, though I think things are working, am aware that there may be a problem.

So, for tonight, I am starting a new set of patterns featuring the cast of the 1970s sitcom, Happy Days! I got a request for a pattern of Potsie from my sister, because it is funny. However, being as this is my blog and I do what I want, I turned this into a seven pattern set. Tonight, I am posting the patterns of Richie, Joanie, and Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham, because I want to make everyone wait for the awesome pattern of Fonzie. Actually, I'm pretty happy with these, too. Mr. C's lodge hat was a bit of a problem, and so was getting Joanie to look like anything whatsoever. In the end, though, I think that these ended up being really cute! It's a weird set, I know, and I am guessing that several readers would be slightly annoyed if they knew what set I put off until Sunday to post this now. Still, I'm happy with these and am glad to post them.

I am done posting for tonight, but tomorrow, will be back with the last three patterns in this set! Until then, have a nice day and good luck with whatever stuff you're doing!
